It's ok, just go buy the license from the same scum that resells the licenses on here and other forums.

I wish there was a better (fairer) way to handle these gestures. I know when I've given away licenses in the past, I've done it via PM to weed out the idiots. For someone like Jirka108 though and the amount they give away, that would be a huge pain in the ass.

What mannners are you talking about? "In a respectful and considerate society" people don't do this to each other. If you really feel gratitude when someone does this to you, by all means do.

If everybody played fair in taking the codes and didn't use bots and always said thanks then I wouldn't have needed to put measures in place to try and ensure a fair chance at getting the code

This is your code and you can do whatever you want with it. No question. I was talking about being or not being grateful. If you gave it away the usual way, I would maybe take it and say thank you. I always do when I use someone's code. In this case I didn't even try. I don't know if your tactic really helps against bots, but it definately helps against people with a bit of a self respect.

I really don't think anyone is trying to humiliate anyone else. We all must be gratefull to Jirka, Agharta and others that recently are giving away lots of freebies, giving others the chance to try things that maybe otherwise they wouldn't have the chance to. For that reason many users found annoying not seeing at least "I grab it, thank you" or seeing the same items appear on sale immediately after they've been redeemed... Are those people so desperate to do that to buy something to eat or medicines? It would be sad, but I would undestand in that case... If not, it's just greed and gluttony.
On the other hand, if anyone can't afford buying commercial products, there are plenty of good quality free plugins and libraries to start working with nowadays, without having to relay on "someone else charity"...
These are just my 2 cents...
