Mdrummer pad selection

Hi I'm trying to use mdrummer like battery. I would like to be able to quickly assign a pad from my midi keyboard to an individual sound (kick, snare etc). In battery you just click the midi icon and double tap a pad and it is assigned. Is there a way to do this in Mdrummer? I have been searching everywhere and have watched all the videos I can find but haven't found a clear answer.

afaik there is no Midi learn feature, but you can use the input filter to map midi controllers and save a mapping preset.

Well you can use MIDI input filter in Menu to set things up.
