The iPad is a huge mobile producer and performer platform. Would it be a huge effort to port Mulab to iOS? Can't judge, just asking.

It would be naive to think that it will ported to ios because there is no any native linux port of it

I don't see the argument - Linux and iOS are completely different platforms with different challenges - hence not necessarily the same high or low effort to port.

This would be my personal Heaven!
However, even not understanding all the ups and downs and ins and outs, I wouldn't be surprised to discover this action and effort would be beyond Jo's ability (not lack, but rather reality).
Unfortunate. But...just a reality.

I'm sure if the WORLD went iPad, then MuLab may. Heheh

I went full 100% iPad in 2017. Still am (except)...
I ONLY came back to Windows (not...NOT entirely. "part time/some time') quite literally because of no MuLab and no Phonec in iPadOS!
Period.

Its just SO much easier, immediate and intuitive.
If I had my two faves.... sadly...even MuLab I could unhappily let go if I could just have Phonec synth on iPadOS, I'd let go yet again. Nothing truly compels nor keeps me on Win nor MacOS insomuch as the likes of power, usability, options, hardware....nothing. Nothing at all.
Everything in Win (as its what Ive kinda moved back to only for MuLab and Phonec), gets in my way all the time...including the physical keyboard. Yes. Really. Im actually struggling writing this post on a laptop keys...ugh! hate!...
Heck I still dont know where Im suypposed to put my instruments anymore. I used to make a PlugIn folder wherever on XP or Win7...Now they all wanna be installed wherever they wish and I have to WORK to figure out where their skins went or presets scurried off to...Apparently there's a secret place VSTs ought be put.

On iPadOS or iOS, it just happens. It just does it. I dont have to worry nor wonder. MacOS today? I do not know. If it does, Ill move to that.
But when I get a synth on iPadOS. Its just there....it goes to the proper place, and its in my iPadOS DAW. Period. Done.
I dont hve to be a computer nerd anymore as I used to...I can just make music.

(sorry about all the mistakres...had to type on a physival keyboard...torture...and this is after fixing what I cared to...)

my ipad keyboard has trouble detecting my key presses if the ipad has a charge too similar to my body. probably because i have a protective silicone cover. i need to touch the metal casing to get it to respond. hmm maybe that means something else. i prefer a hardware keyboard because of this. i can type without looking where my fingers are landing.

btw the best location for plugins on win 11 are: c/program files/common files/vst2/ or vst3/. but yes they get put in places and then you need to go hunting for them.

i think mutools doesnt need to put mulab on ios, just something that gives buyers a sense of the level of quality mutools titles offer. trouble is theres plenty of crazy deep modular stuff on ios now which is why it really needed to happen back when there wasnt anything available. just means a new product for ios needs its own angle to be a huge hit although many companies still seem to be able to do it!
