The price is great and it has a cool/intriguing sound. It sounds unique enough to be treated like seasoning... sprinkled into just about any track and add a little flair, without diverting you from your musical intent.

Tempted by this, but I’ve managed without iLok for this long... they still require it, right? Even their own website says “iLok can be tricky” lol. How much of a hassle is it?

iLok License Manager without the physical dongle is fine. Just make sure to de-activate any authorized licenses from your machine before you upgrade or decommission it.

This is not working properly on Big Sur, I need to see what the latest update is but where have they hidden update installer downloads and release information?

Their user account system also doesn't seem to work. a) I don't think I even had a user account before as the installers were always accessible through the product pages and it's iLok protected anyway and b) I tried entering my email just in case for password retrieval and it said it had sent a link but it hasn't (not in my spam either)

I'm late to the game. Just got Loom II this year. I like it a lot, so I'm not going to read through all the complaints.
Like everything else though, there are some things that I think could be improved.

Loom sounds really good, but the latest version has never been stable for me. It's a shame what happened to Air — Hybrid 3, Vacuum Pro, and Loom were some of my favourites plugins. inMusic have a lot to answer for.

Yeh, I have pretty much all of it,I bought it for MPC standalone but I have been using the VSTs a lot, they sound great.

it is one of the most capable sound generators ever, weird to program but i don't even bother, the randomization works very good, you can get all kind of sounds other synths cant make, weird percussive sounds, drones, alien sounding pads
amazing synth, would love to get resizable UI in future update

here are 47 presets i saved to show how crazy this thing is (i am hesitant to say made, most of them are tweaked though), put them in - appdata, local, AIR Music Technology, Loom
