I've made a patch using the 'on the run' preset as a base.

I want the sequencer to trigger only when I play a note.

It does not. I've no idea why or how, it just keeps playing.

I do not understand the sequencer on this at all. I only have version 2 (IIRC, they updated it for V Collection 11. I have collection 10).

At the left where it says - sequence transpose - it should be active.

Play should be inactive.

Play just becomes active for some reason, despite me rendering it inactive. That's what I dont' understand. I switch if off, then when the track starts it just activates. I have no automation or anything set to affect this and I can't see why it's doing this.

I see your problem now. It is the same here.

When transport start in the daw the sequencer in synthi
starts.

Strange indeed :help:

I very much wish this synth was a bit more interesting. It's mostly just a pain in the balls to get a sound that most modular stuff could do easily. The sequencer playing back with host transport is one of the many bits of synthi that are poorly implemented.

THanks

But I could not get it to record from DAW playback like that at all.

I know they have revamped this synth, so hopefully these idiosyncracies have been fixed, but that requires buying V collection 11

Yeah the sequencer as is needs work. It also has a habit of playing a sound even when the oscillator isn't routed to any output. I understand the synth is 'always on' but there are times when it isn't routed to an output and I still hear it
