A LOT of frustration? I mean, 3 years from now you hit a bug, recognize it for what it is, can the plug if there isn't a patch and move on? We're all doing this daily I'd assume. It ain't that big a deal. I mean, for work... I've got the bullet proof stuff. For art? If I buy a tube of paint I don't use for a bit , it dries up I chuck it and open a new one. If it's shitty maybe I'll use it once and forget about it. That's kind of how I see the 8 millions plugins Ive acquired in bundles or sales. Sorting through them is a whole other can of worms but that's just like a toy box when there's time for fun ya' know? lol.. but surely not a LOT of frustration. Just like.. a little maybe? :)
Yes, a lot of frustration. If you end up adding it to your workflow, then canning it isn't really an easy job if it has become part of your sound. But fair point you don't consider this a quality plugin suite to rely on. Yet that again is why I think I'll save my $2.38
Interesting perspectives in this conversation. I guess attitudes will vary based on workflows and mainly how a person feels about and approaches archived projects..both personal and for clients. Clearly there's no right answer. I just got them and tipped max I could $2.37. Total was $5.01, less than the glass of sake I just had with a ramen dinner at a restaurant. Like most here I have duplicates of all of these but the price for me makes it inviting to experiment which is a great source of inspiration when I dont have a deadline

I definitely understand if somebody only wants to use plugins that they personally have faith will continue to work far into the future.

I had a song signed a number of years after I made it, and I had to go back to it to touch it up. Turns out the main synth was an old version of Arturia CS-80 that I got with hardware, and when I sold the hardware to someone, the license went with it. I bought the latest version, but it wasn't compatible, and the old version wasn't available for download (Arturia thankfully now give you old versions, but I confirmed with Support that they did not at the time). Overall it was a pretty terrible experience trying to get things to work, and then eventually having to program a very unique sound from scratch on a CS-80, which is not the most user friendly synth out there.

On the other hand, every time I go back to old music, I'm always able to make it better, the above example included. So I don't worry about compatibility so much, because I trust I'll be able to get an even better result in a worst-case scenario.

I should mention though that I'm on PC. If I were a Mac user, I'd be much pickier when it comes to ensuring future compatibility.

I mustt be getting old, I didn´t find anything that picked my interest even for less than the price of a coffee. but well made stunt, I reckon.

Not hugely taken with the rest of the plugins, but Panda Rooms is excellent and a total no brainer at this price..

The DeathWestern amp sim has some tasty high gain tones, not real flexible but not described as such.
