This looks like some new NI marketing scheme like when developers offer Kontakt Player compatible instruments for free or Waves dealers/resellers offer free plugins.

I'm guessing these don't work on sale items.

After demoing the Purafied plugins, my favorite is hands down the VU Compressor. I'm loving it as a rear bus machine, just thickens everything in a very pleasing way. Autogain, oversampling, pre/post comp EQ options (which according to Sam are based on Pultec and SSL EQs for the low and high respectively), hpf that doesn't neuter the low end on top of 4 different flavors of compression and saturation. Kiive has done it again. Ironically, it'll be replacing UAD's 1176 on my synth bus from now on.
By the way, the unmarked screws on the left and right sides function as attack and release controls.

Regarding Purafied, I bought the LED compressor last year and it's very usable on the drum bus, often better than a Distressor (eg. the UAD one) when compared directly. Also don't forget Attack/Release can be tuned by the small screws
Also the in built post/after EQ is very useful.
