Unrealistic riff that sounded cool on shreddage 2 products with Revalver HPSE

If you play a sustained note, but at the same time play multiple small palm mutes on the same note, in shreddage 2 it would produce a pretty cool sound combined with revalver hpse even though you obviously cannot do that on one guitar in real life.

On shreddage 3 products, I think the engine is smart enough to know that this isn't realistic, so it ignores the small palm muted midi data underneath the longer sustained note.

Even when I go back to shreddage 2 products, it doesn't sound quite the same because the amp isn't the same, but it sounds closer. So I think to reproduce the this sound the amp sim and vst are both factors.

I'm using Gojira as my amp sim now and cannot activate HPSE.

edit: by the way, I set Shreddage 3 to do velocity based palm mutes. You have to set it. I'm quad tracking four shreddage 3 guitars into the amp sim, panned both left and right.

In theory you can do this with two instances of the same NKI, directed to the same audio output.
