Just wanted to note, even though I have kind of been busy lately, I try to check new stuff when I can. In the past, what I would do is, pretty much click everything; not just the things that interested me. If anything broke, then I try to reproduce it. If that succeeds, then I would report it. It's kind of how beta testing should work. Unfortunately, it some times happens that something gets fixed and may break something else, therefore the only way to know, is by clicking everything else.

I am still a bit busy, and, it may happen that what I am involved in, will consume all my time for a while. So, I ask everyone to try and find those bugs as best as you can..

RC 5.5.6 on MacOS. I've noticed adding a Transpose Track Variation BELOW Expression Track Variation breaks note velocities in a phrase (they all become the same value) and the Expression slider ceases to work. Placing the Transpose Track Variation ABOVE Expression Track Variation works as expected. So the ordering of the Variations in this instance is having an unexpected effect. Seeing this behaviour since the update from RC 5.5.5.

Hello Attila. I have a wish to say that when we started with the idea of ​​several master tracks, I meant that the master tracks (A and B) would each be applied to certain tracks. For example, master track A is applied to tracks 1 and 4, and master track B is applied to all other tracks. A practical example.. The piano track works with master track A, but the piano track 2 (with harmonic substitutions) works with master track B. Actually, based on this, the idea of ​​several master tracks arose. Today I decided to try for the first time how track variations are controlled by envelopes... And I discovered that of all the track variations, only Transposition, Midi Echo and Staccato-Legato are controlled by envelopes. The rest of the Track Variations are not. Is this how it should be?

I tried to automate all parameters that makes sense if they change in time. E.g. for Quantize the division (1/4, 1/8, ...) cannot be automated but the amount can be (0% to 100%). The same with Swing. Velocity can be fully automated, and all parameters of the Velocity Generator and Velocity Range, Strumming and many others where it was possible to automate. I think this is a very powerful but slightly hidden feature.

In the tonnetz window, one note is always selected and there is no way to delete it. Is it possible to select notes by left clicking and delete notes by right clicking in that window?
In many cases, I want the tonnetz window to be completely empty without selecting even a single note, but that is not possible because there is always at least one note in it.

RapidComposer v6.0b9 is available!

Many thanks for the feedback I have received! We're nearing the finish line...
This update has a big feature I have been working on for months.
From this version the RapidComposerV6 folder is used for the settings and other data. Your V5 settings are imported but be aware that paths (Settings/Locations) will still point to your V5 folders.
Please report any issues you find.

Improvements:

• The main v6 feature appears in this update
• Each track can be assigned a master track: A or B
• Showing incoming notes from your MIDI controller is possible on the virtual piano keyboard
• LIVE mode: you can use the mouse for clicking on sections
• LIVE mode: separate color defined (orange by default) to show the section being played
• LIVE mode: playback pointer shown
• LIVE mode: Transpose variation is used instead of a single semitone transpose option per track
• Old "AI menu" items moved to where they logically belong, phrase generation by LLMs removed
• The Windows version has a new installer
