Cool! Although I don't think my DX-7 would be very useful in those regards, with its menu-system and single "data entry" slider.

In my previous post I wanted to point out that most modern keyboard controllers appear to focus on controlling software synths, while I'd like to control plugin effects parameters, DAW mixing controls, and if possible also edit patches of external hardware synths -possibly within a synth librarian/editor app -with all those controller knobs/sliders/buttons.

Actually, I pulled the trigger recently on an Akai Mini for my son, But although I was impressed with in general, I was underwhelmed over the tini keys. It suites my sons need for portability, But I ended up heading to our local Music store and scored a deal on an unopened returned Akai Advanced Pro 49 for $300. So, Yes! We will be making use of Akai VIP64

Hi, i call a Behringer UMX 250 my own.

I ike to use it with Waveform, but am still new to it.

Is there perhaps a chance you'd share your UMX controller mappings with me?

I didn't use it for DAW control, but MIDI learn functions. I have no settings to share, since they were a per-plugin basis.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

Not a 61 keys, but 49.
I purchased one a couple of years ago and I'm very happy with it
