I can't find a way to overdub record a midi session clip in Waveform ? is it possible ?

Is this what you're looking for? I'm guessing by "overdub" you mean "Replace existing clips with newly recorded MIDI clips".

Yeah, I'm not following, either. Do you mean...

1. Comping (stacking different takes so you can choose the best parts out of all of them)
2. Punching (recording something that overwrites (erases) what was there before)
3. Overdubbing (recording new material that's merged into existing material)

Waveform can indeed handle all three for both MIDI or audio (but of course, not MIDI and audio together).

My question what not precise enough. I know it can be done in the arrangement view but is it possible to overdubb notes inside midi clips which are in n the launcher view ?

Ah! Well, alas, this isn't a tool I use. I'll have to defer to someone who's fluent with the clip launcher.
