That would be pretty scumbaggish' if they did that to their customers.

Oh contraire.skyman88882002 wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 7:03 pm Jam points! I thought you wanted to receive something of value
I got the Arc Studio on sale and added Jam Points (about $60 USD worth or 30% off on purchases over $99 ) which qualified me for the Group Buy. Then this morning I brought the price down of the Re-sing by $11 USD or 15% . Jam points have real value. I have used them for Iloud speakers, Uno Synth and other hardware. Jam points are currency with some reasonable limits.

Yes, please have a look on their site.jamcat wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 12:55 am Is there a list of the titles you can choose as your free products, and their minimum qualifying price?
I imagine IKM's strategy and hope is that some will buy something at 149 or higher to get a bunch of same or lower-priced stuff.
On my side, I kind of regret that I didn't do the Max Maxgrade a few months ago, because IKM had changed things so that Jam Points could only take off 15% of the cost (if under 100 monetary units), instead of 33% as in the beforetime of a few years ago.
So, I'd recommend first checking your already-purchased products in your IKM account or in the installer, and then consider whether it would be a good deal for you.

I'm glad that you asked, though, in a time when it seems many humans aren't talking to each other or asking each other for advice.

I kind of wish I had jumped on the Total Studio Max Maxgrade from a couple of months ago, even though it might have added some stuff that I might never use.
My reason for not doing that at the time was that I could only use IKM JamPoints toward 15% of the purchase. Not sure if I remember correctly, but in former times I think I could apply those toward 33% of the purchase. However, if the terms have changed, that's completely understandable. People should get paid for their work after all!
With this group-buy promo, I'm still thinking I'll review what I already own, and maybe go for the T-Racks Max Maxgrade just for the Prism Reverb and other new plugins, and then maybe add some pianos and whatever else would go best in my toolbox.

Just be advised that the free titles need to be of the same or lesser value. Going for a 49$ product makes little sense.jamcat wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 12:55 am Is there a list of the titles you can choose as your free products, and their minimum qualifying price?

Jam Points should be revised into dollar for dollar. It makes it really confusing to understand, IK Multimedia fix this, it's really stupid at the moment.

Yeah. Depending on the products you want, $99 seems the minimum. I took a look at their Axe i/o since I need an audio interface but looking at the reviews/complaints... never mind.jens wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 3:14 pmJust be advised that the free titles need to be of the same or lesser value. Amplitube and Tonex are the only ones I'm interested in which begs the question: Can you sell the stuff you don't want and would anybody buy them for $20 OR $10? I'm guessing it will be better to wait until they have another sale for Amplitube and Tonex.

I'm talking about how jam points work, I have 207 jam points, but i'm only able to use a fraction or percentage when trying to cash them in. they should work, dollar for dollar as I said, this is confusing the way IK has decided to make jam points work.. confusing for no reasonkevinsparks wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 1:49 pm1 Jam Point = 1 dollar. The group Buy finally hit 17x1 after several days since the last milestone. At this rate, it looks to me like it will only hit about 30 free products. But what does the latest forecast say?DarkStar wrote: Thu Sep 25, 2025 6:49 pm
The Forecast number is based on the current rate of purchases / registrations - that bit is up to you![]()
