i should correct my info on the proteus, it's a looping sequencer not recorder, still getting one at some point, as it did interesting things, id at least like to see how much further it can go, as it had some many free jack ins/outs, and i was only tweaking a couple of parameters and already getting nice results.

As my year in DIY finally starts to get under way, well, most likely it will not be fully under way until year's end, I'm not sure that my life can be complete without the infusion of wisdom that I'm quite sure that this module will provide. Steiner Parker quirks in a phaser, yes please!

Watched a video on 1010 Music Bento and it looks pretty slick, marketing says it replaces a laptop in live performances, I kinda doubt that, but if it can play on one channel while looping on one or two other channels it would be nice to have.

Oh UDO, I was just settling in to a long winter's suppression of the GASsy bloat and then this.

Oh, I am sure you would love playing these two! I made a noise track adding to a recording I made on the combination and all I could think of was: 'now I'm getting into vurt territory'vurt wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 7:58 pmi was playing with the enner, through a cosmos on saturday, im quite tempted by the enner now! theyre like a match made in heaven!Constructed Identity wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 7:15 pm Watched a video on 1010 Music Bento and it looks pretty slick, marketing says it replaces a laptop in live performances, I kinda doubt that, but if it can play on one channel while looping on one or two other channels it would be nice to have.

Good, solid build (similar to PUSH). Heavier than I expected.
Arrived charged and ready to go. Time to dig into the manual.![]()

Well, I didn't hold out long and ordered both Polimaths and QXG.
The backend connections got me, though now as I'm typing... I'll need to find a spot where they can exist side-by-side. Oh, damn. Case reorg time.

Dude, I must be cured of GAS... not interested in new Make Noise or new Roland drum machine at all.
That UDO DMNO looks rad, love the VFD look of the display. Still not really tempted.
I feel like I've got so much time invested in the stuff I already use, I'm starting to be annoyed by the idea of spending the time it'll take to learn new gear.

In the video, they had said connected by cable in the back. I think I need to ask them about the length of what I'm assuming is in an included cable. I'm wondering how much freedom I have to move around, vs buying a separate cable.vurt wrote: Wed Oct 01, 2025 4:59 pmhavent looked at the manual, but are they extra cable connections or over busboard?elxsound wrote: Wed Oct 01, 2025 4:56 pm Well, I didn't hold out long and ordered both Polimaths and QXG.

Then there's mention of "When a $&%*#^!@ is also pre-patched to the QXGs’ signal inputs the collection of modules comprises the eight channel core of the New Universal Synthesizer System."
So that'll be a thing to consider too
