Okay, after a bit of work, I think this is ready to be shown off.
https://soundcloud.com/user-299616995/s ... ful-memory
Six tracks. Powered by RipplerX and FLStudio.
Evoking the feel of the MIDI-glory days of a certain "Game Without End". As such, it gets two basic runs and ends for looping, with a bit of a natural chorus to finish it off.
Might update this one before the end of the month, but at least I can say it's submitted.

I actually wanted to participate in this event, so I composed and uploaded a song. However, I was short on time and wasn't entirely satisfied with the song, so I ultimately decided not to participate. I apologize to everyone.
I plan to make time for the next OSC 200, but this time I'd like to participate only through voting. I sincerely apologize once again.
[My English skills are limited, so I used Google Translate to write this Description. Thank you for your understanding.]

The rules for the OSC state "You are free to vote if you participated in the competition. If you did NOT participate, you may vote, as long as you have more than 40 KVR forum posts prior to the competition start. The only exception is if you are the developer of the Synth (You get one vote max)"9024 wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 11:36 am... but this time I'd like to participate only through voting. With only 1 KVR post, sadly, you won't be able to vote in this round.

Howdy everyone,
For my first submission, I wanted to do something energetic and dancy, but wound up making this ambient crescendo jam thing. The main "bass melody" was a little riff that got stuck in my head one day and I recorded myself humming it into my phone so I wouldn't forget it. The drum pattern was based on a rhythmic sketch of me tapping on my desk (I need an actual drumset/drumpad). The overall thematic material was inspired by certain horrific events that have happened in the USA recently. Anyways, RipplerX is an insanely cool synth capable of sounds that would be very difficult to get any other way. The UI is simple and beautiful, and the developer was extremely responsive with real-time improvements.

16 Tracks Rippler X with FL Studio 2025
Used Plugins:
Fruity EQ2, Maximus, KSHMR Kick, TDR NOVA, Auburn Lens, LoudMax, Valhallah Supermassiv, Deelay, Auburn Panagement, Replika, SkyNet Reverb, Fruity Freq. Splitter, NI Raum, OTT, Ozone EQ 10, TAL Reverb 2
No external sound sources were used. All sounds are from INI in Rippler X!
A small but powerful synthesiser that I had a lot of fun with! Excellent support from TILR, who spared no effort in troubleshooting problems and implementing suggestions. I have never seen so many updates during the course of development. And not because things weren't working, but to improve them. Very good support and many thanks again!

She doesn’t fly.
She doesn’t need to walk.
Nor does she swim.
She moves inside herself.
Sometimes she dances,
As we make music for her.
A glimpse of human shape
She offers to our little minds.

Tech:
11 x RipplerX.vst3 in
Ableton Live : Tracks: EQ Eight, Compressor, Multiband Dynamics, Reverb,
Sends: Reverb, Valhalla SuperMassive.
Master: EQ Eight, Beat Skillz Max-1
********
I challenged myself to make a little more complex,
arrangement than my usual tracks, using daring dissonances as well.
The mix is for medium volume listening, not too loud.
As per the challenge for the RipplerX.vst3 itself, it was mostly about
trying not to loose the sound of my custom patches, since too many times
on project reload it wasn't sounding the same. I started
downloading 1.4.3, eventually I tried the newer build but
that meant to loose all the patches I designed, so I got back to 1.4.3.
Also I needed to render the mixdown about 20 times to get a good one.
********
Still, the modal synthesis this synth uses can produce some interesting
sounds. The drawback of modal synthesis (as implemented here) is that it
completely relies on parameters modulation for expressive playing, but
the calibration and response of the parameters to external modulation
is not optimal (by my subjective POW, of course).

Once again, this effort has nothing to do with the title but probably best to keep fingers and toes inside the car at all times. So, this was assembled from a CPU straining 22 instances of RipplerX in Bitwig Studio 5.3.13. I quite liked the dry sound of this synth but even so, a bit of reverb and delay was applied. The following additional plugins were used:
- dpMeter5, Blue Cat Gain 3 and KClipZero on clip to zero duty
- NI Raum and Valhalla Supermassive for some reverb
- Bitwig Drum Machine
- Bitwig Compressor+
- Bitwig Delay+
- Bitwig EQ+
- TDR Kotelnikov
- TDR Nova
Midi for the percussion was generated with Modalics Beat Scholar while the non-percussion midi was generated with Scaler 3. Most patches were from init with some of the percussion based on the included patches.

Hi everyone, he shouldn't have done anything because RipplerX hated me from the first moment
But then he calmed down, softened up and let me do something, so I did it
Yesterday I did most of it and today I finished it.

Hi there. Here's my entry for the OSC#199 September 2025.
I used 6 instances of Rippler; the stock EQ and Bus Compressor on my DAW of choice (Renoise); and was inspired to create a kind of techno/drumnbass/lounge hybrid that I imagine might please Sentient Boiler Philip Jeffries from Twin Peaks The Return.
This is my first time entering. Didn't realise how much leeway we have for using FX and I've ran out of time now. Anyway, it was a lot of fun doing this today. Thanks
