Not knocking it, just the marketing. Based on the little time I've spent with it, it seems like the primary function is as a static shimmer reverb. My favorite way of using it has been to select all the notes that are in my key, which gives a very ethereal quality to the sound. Put a phaser or cutoff LFO on some chords, set Temperance to 100% wet and you'll get a similar sound to those famous pads found in Spectrasonics Distorted Reality.concealed identity wrote: Wed Oct 01, 2025 1:11 pmIt actually seems pretty unique- you select notes/chords to either emphasize or de-emphasize in the reverb, and then select which octaves you want that to affect. From the tutorial video, it does make a noticeable effect on the sound:skarvika wrote: Wed Oct 01, 2025 12:42 pm"The World’s First Musical Reverb"sprnva wrote: Wed Oct 01, 2025 12:14 pm New reverb from Eventide. Been wondering when there's going to be one for music. Every other reverb released so far has been geared towards working in a rock quarry.![]()
Here's a demo, first 100% wet, then 50%. Really liking the sound of it. Side note, UVI Relayer, which is also being used here, is pretty great.
