Personally, I would’ve been glad if he had set up a kind of patreon thing for himself kind of like what Chris does for airwindows (even on top of the initial purchase). But I know the golden age of vst is over and you can’t realistically charge $500 for a synth like NI used to charge for Reaktor. I like what Pspaudioware is doing, though. They’re releasing big updates for their eq plugins and charging like $10-15 for it. Shutting it down just sucks.

For as involved as Colin was in the audio community I’m kind of surprised he didn’t just lay all this down and say, “I can’t really make it work like it is anymore. I’m open to suggestions, though.” At least that’s the vibe I was getting from him. He seems really open and honest.

I hope things improve for Colin. I have licenses for all the Loomer software except Architect. I don't think I have backups of the latest installers. I believe the demo and full versions used the same installer. Can anyone confirm?

Not trying to blame him for anything, as there might be circumstances we do not know about. Also hope he is well and still hoping he might return some day, like a phoenix out of the ashes.

Thanks. That links to the downloads for Architect. I looked around the wayback machine for working links to the latest installers for the other Loomer plugins. The only working links I could find were for Aspect, Manifold, and String. So that leaves Resound, Sequent, and Shift without working links.

Does anyone know where the License key came from was it the Loomer site or Fastspring? I've not got a email with the info - I only have the PayPal transaction. If gone forever I still want to be access the latest build if possible?
