And guess what? They had something that could be used at least as a sort of drum editor, namely "Hyper Edit" (some oldtime Logic users may remember). But then some idiot at Apple decided it was time to take it out with the event of Logic X.
There's also been a most excellent function called "Hyperdraw", allowing you to edit MIDI CC data straight on a part. Now you have to use automation and select the data you want to edit all the time and also can't stay within your preferred zoom level.
And don't even get me started on anything related to zooming. They just royally f**ked up multiple zooming functions with Logic X - and it's possibly been the best zooming DAW until that moment.
Really, these guys have lost their minds.
