Does anyone know where Loom 2 stores the factory audio samples on windows? Not the presets but the samples?

Are you looking to import your own? If so, you can import up to two of your own samples (per instance of Loom II) from the "Wave" page. By default, the window to load your own .WAV files opens to "My Computer" and displays a list of your hard drives.

The few samples I've been able to find that Loom II uses are in ProgramData/Air Music Technology/Loom/NoiseBands (and there aren't many .WAV files in that folder). Note that "ProgramData" is a hidden folder, so you'll need to show hidden files and folders to see it.

Other than that, I don't know that Loom II uses samples. Some of the presets are much larger than others, which would lead me to think they have single-cycle audio files in them. However, the presets are in a proprietary format, and I haven't seen any documentation that suggests they store any audio files.

Thanks.I did find the noisebands files but there seeems to be others that are used in certain factory pre-sets such as 04 Emotion Matters from the Meet Loom group of pre-sets.There in the edit section is a .wav file playing back called emotion 1.wav. I thought clicking on the folder icon there would bring up all the .wav files but it appears to be just for searching for one's own sample files. Yes I'd like to add my own but also I was hoping to discover Looms own library of sounds too but it doesn't look like they are accessible.

Well, they have to be somewhere. I’m not at my DAW now, but is the “Emotion Matters” preset one of the ~380 KB ones, or one of the many under 10 KB? If it’s the former, it may have the .WAV within the preset file.
