Ticket logged to support. I am assuming LOTS of folks are going to get a surprise today if you Annual Updates plan expiry date is 10/10/25

Are you getting the pop up that says “The License has not been issued for this application version!”?

I was locked out of Studio One despite having a valid perpetual license that is still active for upgrades, due to some mucking about on the backend PreSonus was doing back in August. I posted about it at the time.

Edit: fixed link

I saw the mentioned KB article, but it didn't fix my issues. I haven't heard anything from support, but I tried S1 a few minutes ago and it's working normally now, so they've done something. At least I can work on projects that I've been locked out of again. I'm speculating they're working on some backend fix for everyone, but who knows. It's not like they've emailed any messaging at all, you know, like any other responsible company would.

Hopefully, it's addressed for everyone else soon, too.

I find it absolutely mind blowing that the company has become this inept.

To all this has happened to, are you all on some version of Studio One 7? Or I wonder if this is happening to earlier version too..

Not a good look either way. Might be migration time for me if it happens. I have Cubase and Reaper waiting in the wings should it come to that.

I am mostly working in Studio One 5 as Studio One 7 was quite unsable until the 7.2 version and the projects haven't finished so far. No issues yet, lets hope it stays that way

Thanks, good to know. If it's consistent for everyone working w/ a previous version it's certainly valuable info for those considering upgrading to version 7. I know now that I won't be, pretty much. Hard to imagine a redder flag for a daw than the potential of at any point losing access to work you've put untold hours into. What a nightmare.

Hope OP and others can further update when/whether this has been addressed or fixed.

I am still on ver 6 and all my stuff is still there under my_presonnus or whatever...

Mine was fixed over the weekend, but support answered my ticket today.

"That was a glitch related to the Extended Support Date. It should work now."

So did PreSonus extend the year license for early adopters since they missed their "3 to 4 major updates" target?

I have doubts about that:

Eligibilty for updates for your Studio One license has expired. Your existing license includes updates through version 7.2.

Is that the message you're getting now from Studio One?

If that's the message people are getting right now, then I don't understand what "the Extended Support Date" is. It doesn't sound like there is one.

I have this message in my presonus account.

It is probably related to the next maintanance update.
I guess they just took care of that so when released those whose licence has expired can get the maintanance update without issues.
