edit2:
the shop - checkout has worked now. (there is something strange)
Seems: the Demo is the same as the regular install

So I'm guessing the €199 is an 'early bird' pricing and will become €249 at some point - however as it's currently Mac only with "Windows support coming soon" will I be doing myself out ot 50 euros by not buying it now, even though I won't be able to use it for an unforeseeable duration until the PC code fairies work their magic ?

First tests are so encouraging, it sounds amazing with few clicks.
I may be very greedy but I can't help but wish for a VSTi port of Atelier, to trigger this glorious gen module with MIDI. That'd turn Atelier into an insanely capable instrument.

It's really great.
The UI is God tier. Imho, it's one of the best UIs in any plugin I've come across. It's super intuitive but really powerful and an out and out masterclass in ergonomics. One example of this is if you want numeric entry, you just click on the adjustment handle and enter a number or another example is how channels are assigned to the output with the spread control
It's deceptively powerful and the sound quality is exceptional.
Each module can do a lot and combining them really opens up to all kind of crazy shenanigans. For example you can do granular with the play module by choosing a very short duration and adjusting the envelope of the nodes and then modulating the position with an agitator. Put that into a pitch module and you have a shimmer effect.
For those wondering in the DAW world it's essentially an insert effect. ie. Modules like the pitch, comb, delay etc. will process audio going through.
Even the generator modules like Gen and Play are inline and can be mixed with the incoming audio. In Gen's case there's a duck and follow parameter.
A few criticisms would be that it's very minimally integrated with the DAW. There is extensive and easy midi learn and host automation but things like not being able to sync the play button on the Play module to DAW playback is kind of baffling. Also there's no way to get simple midi note pitch to set the Gen pitches. When you midi learn an oscillators pitch with a midi note note velocity controls the pitch!!
I know it's not a conventional midi instrument but it would be nice to have things like this.
Also all parameters are in ms or hz so no host based timing in beat divisions. I'd also love a way to reset the agitator's phase. (I might be missing something there but I couldn't find it. I don't know if the play/pause button resets.
But there are ways of working around that so it's not the end of the world.
All in all though the thing that sticks out is how easy and frictionless (for the most part) everything is and how good everything sounds.

yeah, alots of power, great sound.
Just had two nice jams with it. Lots of fun so far for me.
Great price tag with the loyality discount. Thanks for that !
i miss the superslider of course.
not replaceable just by steping thru snapshots
= feature request
A for me very positiv surprise vs. the latency situation so far. Very good vs. what i´ve used.
I can´t even say if it has some.
And thanks for taking care of us old customers ! much appreciated

Congrats on the launch! The release version of Atelier looks absolutely tasty, can’t wait to play around with it.mqtthiqs wrote: Tue Oct 14, 2025 12:51 pm Hey all. Yes we have a small mishap concerning Paypal orders. Will be solved in a short moment, please bear with us.
But at the moment I can only pay with credit card, I can’t find any other options like PayPal or Apple Pay. Will other payment options be added at some point? Thanks.

Does it still have the bad preset system that GRM Tools have or have they improved on it?

PayPal isn't working for some reason. I provided them with an invoice to prove I paid and now I'm waiting for them to refund my PayPal order so that I can pay via credit card.nanostream wrote: Tue Oct 14, 2025 5:46 pm

It is an unfortunate mess.
