Uncle E wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 8:52 pm It’s a physical product. We give free shipping on orders of $199 or above. If you can wait a little bit, I’ll try to change that to $169 or above so this gets free shipping.
Can the physical shipping be circumvented, ie. is it just a paper slip with a license code (not a physical medium like a USB stick)?

Shipping a box means customs etc, and these extra costs would exceed the discount.

I assume it will be downloadable, just showing physical shipping now.
Sorry, dealers are forbidden from offering it as a download.
That they give only the boxed version to resellers is a f***ing anachronism. A pity, that shipping to Europe prices are like it's brought by a virgin riding on a unicorn during full moon.

My understanding is......
you sell one adverstised as 2.8 but inside is 3.0 shown.
What´s the catch with that ? Since your 3.0 is a bundle and above the original cost.

Sorry, it will be Omnisphere 3. I’ll fix that later.

Physical shipping can’t be circumvented.

You can get the download directly from Spectrasonics. Certainly worth the extra $30, given international shipping costs these days.

On the video they show a mutator which seems infinitely more fun. You essentially load a patch and click mutate and it loads all new samples from the vast sample library at random and tweaks other settings

The really cool thing is that it automatically saves each new patch organized by date and time

How long will the Omnisphere 3 upgrade be available for this price?
My understanding is it’s the permanent price.
Is that a physical product, or is it digital delivery? I'm getting these shipping options when I try to checkout from cart.
If you add another item to your cart to get it over $199, the shipping will be free. I’ll try to make it free shipping on its own, as well.
not outside US unfortunately

i hope they will expand this like Absynth 5 Mutation and e.g. only mutate FX etc. (or maybe you can lock these? like Omnisphere 2)

When one gets the physical version, do they unlock download option after registration also? I mean at least for updates, they have to(?)

I think I've figured out the new patch system.

It looks like they've rolled some, most or all of the old patches into the new 18 categories. These are tagged totally differently (and probably more logically).

In addition you can access the old versions in the legacy section, with the old tagging and categorisation. So, in theory, it would be the best of both worlds (if they haven't changed the sonics, which will be an amazing achievement if so).

So the headline figure of 41,000 patches will include patches in these different forms. You might even be stuck with a paltry 26,000 unique ones.

Seems like the jump to version 3 is not as dramatic as going from 1 to v 2 accoring to the video timestamps, but understandable considering how powerful this thing is.

Hopefully someone can post an upgrade feature list. I'll see what i can find here in a bit, if i have the time.

I am confident that you can but I’ll double-check.
