I did actually benefit from that once, Trilian - their sampled bass plugin - was on sale at a reseller for just £100 because the box was tatty. Obviously I didn’t care about the box but it got me that discount, you’re never going to get B-stock software only downloads.

On topic, think the FX rack plugin may be useful and I’m glad all the v2 presets are backwards compatible. The extra hardware integration may be worth playing with as I’ve got quite a few items on their list of compatibile synths and controllers.

On the video they show a mutator which seems infinitely more fun. You essentially load a patch and click mutate and it loads all new samples from the vast sample library at random and tweaks other settings

The really cool thing is that it automatically saves each new patch organized by date and time
Actually that does sound really cool.

Absolutely. Deal breaker without.
Does anyone know?

Actually - gasp - it's likely considerably less than EVEN 26,000. Unlike the old category system, patches now appear in more than one category. That's ultimately a good thing, it was always daft that a retro pad had to be in either Pads and Strings OR Retroland.

The real number of unique patches - or new patches - is unknown at this point.

Couldn't see a way of locking any of the layers, though. Would be nice to be able to hold/stick certain of the layers before re-mutation.

The Rack FX as a plugin would be worth it alone. It's like an everything effects bundle, something like IK Mixbox but better and more.

I wonder how old presets will work in the new tagging system? I bought that OmniTag program and got everything cleaned up. I guess you need to use the legacy tagging system for old presets? Or might there be some conversions?

just finished watching the demo video from Eric + Friends.

Wow, mind blown. They will sell a ton of these.
AND: The Osmose sales will explode. (mark my words)

a per key Frequenzy Shifter is what i wanted to have since ever !
The 4 layers system and how you can access it is super powerful.
I never had Ombisphere, so i have no comparison vs. their past.

Finally a major product that takes advantage of what the Osmose brought to market.

And that soundengine capable of per key FX control will have a huge potential to implement many more things.

But why in hells gate is EVERYBODY releasing their new stuff at this very moment ?
It´s beyond me........it´s contraproductive to just about everybody, any side.

Kinda.

Yes, any LFO can be polyphonic. BUT - only one at a time. (Same deal with Mod envelopes)

That was underwhelming.
There are two kinds of people in the world. And you're not one of them.

Not that I would use it, but disappointing that it still doesn't allow user multisamples.

I'm assuming the shipping thing is a mistake, and I can just select local pickup and download everything. No?
It’s a physical product. We give free shipping on orders of $199 or above. If you can wait a little bit, I’ll try to change that to $169 or above so this gets free shipping.
A physical product!? Well, let me hitch up the team and go down to the mercantile to go fetch it!

At least they kept that trendy Y2K aesthetic, eh? ;-)
