Those glide curves look very interesting - sounds not unlike the glide curves in Imposcar 3.

If 41,000 presets aren't enough...seangm wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 8:46 pm Hope they add a "Random" button like the G-Force synths that loads a random preset
For an AI to generate 26,000 new synth sounds for Omnisphere, the process would take anywhere from a few hours to several weeks, depending heavily on the specific method and desired quality. The timeline is not a single, fixed duration because it involves multiple steps, including training the AI, generating the raw data, and processing/refining the final patches for Omnisphere.

I got Omnisphere 2 as a physical product. It was a weird flash drive in a box, but that was really pointless as I still had to download the entire libraryzerocrossing wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 10:25 pmA physical product!? Well, let me hitch up the team and go down to the mercantile to go fetch it!Uncle E wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 8:52 pmIt’s a physical product. We give free shipping on orders of $199 or above. If you can wait a little bit, I’ll try to change that to $169 or above so this gets free shipping.zerocrossing wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 7:32 pmI'm assuming the shipping thing is a mistake, and I can just select local pickup and download everything. No?Uncle E wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 7:06 pm We'll be selling the upgrade for lower than $199. Putting it up now.

Potentially grabbing what they can before everything is full of free AI driven slop?Funky40 wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 10:07 pm But why in hells gate is EVERYBODY releasing their new stuff at this very moment ?
It´s beyond me........it´s contraproductive to just about everybody, any side.

I think seangm meant to load an existing preset, randomly choosing one.Alchemedia wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 10:50 pmIf 41,000 presets aren't enough...seangm wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 8:46 pm Hope they add a "Random" button like the G-Force synths that loads a random preset

They have a random sort, have had it I think since omnisphere 1, but you would have to choose which one to click on from the random sort.

EDIT - Sorry I missed the discussion above
Is this a physical product, or something I can redeem online?

Yes, any LFO can be polyphonic. BUT - only one at a time. (Same deal with Mod envelopes)

Same as 2 I believe, and no use at all to me.

I think the idea of grabbing new random samples from the massive and diverse sample library is really cool, as it will come up with different combinations than I could ever think ofCaine123 wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 9:14 pmi hope they will expand this like Absynth 5 Mutation and e.g. only mutate FX etc. (or maybe you can lock these? like Omnisphere 2)IvyBirds wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 9:10 pmOn the video they show a mutator which seems infinitely more fun. You essentially load a patch and click mutate and it loads all new samples from the vast sample library at random and tweaks other settingsseangm wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 8:46 pm Hope they add a "Random" button like the G-Force synths that loads a random preset
The really cool thing is that it automatically saves each new patch organized by date and time
From there using the new hardware integration with a MIDI controller allows you to easily tweak and change the global controls for envelopes, filters, effects, etc
Then if you want to dive deeper you easily can do exactly that and go down the rabbit hole
I can see myself spending tons of very enjoyable hours doing exactly this.

I wonder if the new interface is actually finally windows multi-touch compatible, like they claimed it was in V2, even though it wasn't, at all. Not that it matters much to be now as I'm back on Mac, but still curious.

My Dream would be NKI integration, not that that’s likelyzvenx wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 10:17 pm Not that I would use it, but disappointing that it still doesn't allow user multisamples.
