Yes, please re-implement the option “hold down the [Shift] key and click” on the numerical values to synchronize to the tempo, as in the old suite! This would be a really basic feature, and even though this software is absolutely brilliant, it sorely lacks this function !
Thank you in advance, I'm going back to dive into what is (this one) the best software of the year!

Couple of questions:
Is there a manual besides the info pages online?
Is there an official Discord or User forum?
How do you get midi notes to work. I was able to map Bitwig to control parameters, but can't figure out working with midi notes

Kinda interested to see the quality of effects in this vs the competition, particularly HOFA. Aside from all the modulation and whatnot, I think the HOFA effects are in a class by themselves.

I don´t have any Hofa FX.
Ateliers FX soundquality is top notch.....or even better. I´d say it is premier ligue.
But to me this type of question is missing the real point/s vs. Atelier.
Lets say it so: the soundquality is that good that "this" is nolonger the real question as such.
you won´t measure "its sound". You´ll measure "your" sound outcome

@ Funky40: Well yea, that’s what I meant about the modulation and whatnot. I’m sure it will be more interesting than the HOFA stuff in that regard. Then again, I do have pretty much all of them, so that might not be what makes it for me.
In any event, I’m on win, can’t know until it’s available.

i´ve not used any modulations so farpekbro wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 6:54 pm @ Funky40: Well yea, that’s what I meant about the modulation and whatnot.
Only handplaying + manual manipulation.
Respectivly playing with just one single sample and only one playhead in my other patch.
So whatever came out, it was not based on any -auto- modulation
A point to make here is:
some -creative- FX work better vs. "modulation/manual manipulation" than others. Similar as a 303 VCFs starts to sound different when you jam that cutoff knob. Atelier is great on that.
It´s in my opinion made to be played. You´d not use that completly static. Edit: well, you can.

Well I found an answer to my question about midi notes mapping. It's in the section about midi and automation:
"Classic VST instrument playing ("hit a key to make a note") is not supported. Yet."
So I'll quite trying to make that work.
I was able to get the midi note behavior currently supported to work. You can map a single note (like F3 or C4) to a parameter. When you hit that specific note on your controller, the velocity is translated into a modulation, and adjusts that parameter. When you release the note, it sets the parameter to it's minimum value. Not sure what I would use that for. I was expecting midi notes to act like any other plugin. I will wait patiently (OK, not so patiently) for them to implement this.

Has anyone heard from them since the launch? I’ve asked them, in this thread and in an email, about alternative payment options a couple of days ago, and haven’t heard back yet.
Playing around with the demo isn’t fun at all, btw. The audio dropouts are far too aggressive imho, it feels like every 20 seconds. I mean, I’ve already made up my mind and will buy it as soon as I can. But it makes it unnecessarily harder to properly evaluate the product.

Could use a midi-triggered modulator if you are using it within a DAW - so something like envelope midi, etc. in Ableton - and that way the (attack, release, ...) curves can be finetuned as well, or map other midi parameters with expression and so on.krankyone wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 10:03 pm Well I found an answer to my question about midi notes mapping. Hi, sorry for your wait. It's been an avalanche of messages since the launch, our support can barely keep up. Our website had a few problems since launch, notably because of high traffic. PayPal payment is one of them; we had to disable it temporarily. Working on it.
Please bear in mind that we're an incredibly small team (2 developers, 1 support person), facing unexpected demand. We're doing the best we can.
I've been very excitedly reading all your comments about the software itself, taking notes for requests, difficulties. I'm here (in the limits of the 24h day) to answer any questions.

No worries, thanks for getting back to me! I had a hunch you might be swamped in support requests, so I just wanted to ask around.mqtthiqs wrote: Fri Oct 17, 2025 12:54 pmHi, sorry for your wait. Great to hear you’re working on that PayPal problem, hope it’s resolved soon. Can’t wait to finally buy it!
