Are the Jrrshop ones just boxed or also a download? I’m in the UK so don’t really need a box shipping from the states

I think they can only sell them in the US.aMUSEd wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 2:02 pm Are the Jrrshop ones just boxed or also a download? I’m in the UK so don’t really need a box shipping from the states

i remember many years ago, when audiodeluxe offered toontrack superior SDX, i was able to reach out to the shop and made a special offer, that i only received the serials and left the physical boxes with data dvds in the us store. The concept would be the same, we need only the serial and could download it by ourselves from spectrasonics. The boxes and ssds could be trashed....

They are boxed, and US only from what I've read.aMUSEd wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 2:02 pm Are the Jrrshop ones just boxed or also a download? I’m in the UK so don’t really need a box shipping from the states
Apparently download upgrades are from Spectrasonics only. No 3rd party sellers.

Btw Juno in the Uk have the boxed upgrade for £148, but it's listed as a preorder for now.aMUSEd wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 2:02 pm Are the Jrrshop ones just boxed or also a download? I’m in the UK so don’t really need a box shipping from the states
Not sure how much cheaper that is compared to the download from Spectrasonics.

Loving the new filters, especially the filter saturation. Possible to get into that super saturated ms-20 filter ballpark.

Yeah - (I'm in the UK too) I just got it straight from Spectrasonics, paid with PayPal in USD and let my bank do the conversion. It was £153.08 and you don't have to waitaMUSEd wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 3:47 pmSame pretty muchMoodyB wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 3:14 pmBtw Juno in the Uk have the boxed upgrade for £148, but it's listed as a preorder for now.aMUSEd wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 2:02 pm Are the Jrrshop ones just boxed or also a download? I didn't have a ton of time to use Omnisphere last night because it took forever to download, but I did spend much of time going through the new filters and totally agree - they take it to another level IMO. As much as I've loved Omni for the past few decades, I never really considered it to be a go-to for analog emulation, but Omni 3 might be changing my mind about that.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 4:02 pm Loving the new filters, especially the filter saturation. About 24 hours with Omnisphere 3 now, and I've come to terms with there are good sound designers and then there's Spectrasonics. They are a much different breed and level of talent and experience here, this is just facts. I keep wanting to add a score of 10 to the 5 star rating of almost all the new presets I hear. It's hard to put in words how amazing Omnisphere 3 is.
It's a humbling experience.. Enjoy

Same here, I considered the filters previously to be functional, not characterful, and sounds were more about the sound sources and other synthesis (feel the same about Equator). Now it's much more satisfying to get those resonant filter tones like you look for in analog synths.cryophonik wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 4:15 pmI didn't have a ton of time to use Omnisphere last night because it took forever to download, but I did spend much of time going through the new filters and totally agree - they take it to another level IMO. The only filter I somewhat liked before was the power filter (which I believe they licensed from gforce), however the levels were so low on that, you always had to crank up the volume.
