Desaturated colors after updating

Just installed Waveform 13.5 (going from Waveform 13), and all of the colors look terrible. I have tried many settings but none have fixed it. It kinda looks like a colorblind filter has been added, attached are the pictures before and after the update.

13.5 Latest update now makes the colors look way worse than these photos. looking for a fix

Can we assume that Saturation and Vividness are settings that you have tried? Which color scheme are you using?
Surely there must be consensus by now...

IIRC, there is an option to load the color palette as having been delivered with WF 12.
Classical guitar --> Line Audio CM4 @ SSL12 --> KDE-Plasma @ Debian-Linux --> Waveform PRO 13.5

A lot depends on whether the OP is using Free or Pro. I don't think the former allows you to choose or edit the color scheme. However, you might be able to make changes by editing the settings file.
Surely there must be consensus by now...
