Waveform Free v13.5.13 constantly crashing

Since i updated from previous version to this newer one, the DAW keeps crashing while i try to use it.
My Laptop is a Windows 10 and Ryzen 5 with Vega 8 integrated graphics, 12gb of RAM, i was making nothing that's hardware intensive, just simple soundtracks for a game i am working on using the Pro54 and the drum plugin that comes with waveform free.
I just can't return to the previous version, i am not finding anywhere an option to do this.

Support advised its a problem related to https://juce.com/

Their cure was to reinstall the previous version. But as you say its been removed from downloads in user accounts

There is a 13.5.15 beta available on the website now. I don't know if it fixes the crashes because I never experienced the crashes.

I'm only test-driving Waveform Free, but i installed an update as I was on 13.2.something. I was unaware of any potential issues.
I've not experienced a crash yet. However, the entire transport area is now invisible!
The buttons still work, however, nothing can be seen.
I tried opening a new project. Same issue.

The only download available in my account is for 13.5.13. Ugh.

That's a new one. Not going to post any specs or screenshots? Did you reboot? Tried changing Settings -> Advanced -> Performance -> GUI Rendering Mode?

Oh, of course.
Win 11 Home (I know. I know. lol). 2018 Razor Blade, i7, 64GB RAM.

I did close and restart the app. No joy. I tried rebooting. Also no joy.

I have not delved into settings as id not had an issue prior so I didn’t consider that.
Although, I must say that Ive been annoyed that onscreen text and border lines seem ever so slightly blurry in Waveform, even before this. Everything is very sharp in every other app, including DAWs (neither MuLab nor Reaper have that issue on my system).

I’ll make a screenshot after I’ve found a good, free image host. I haven’t needed nor used one in well over a decde. Heh.

I just use KvR. You can drag and drop images into the full editor.

Blurriness is also a new one. It will be interesting to see screenshots.

I also had crashes with WF free after updating, but installing public beta (13.5.15) from Tracktion website helped. You can find it by clicking the user profile icon -> my downloads -> public beta. Hope that helps.

If that is the case for you - I guess so. I have no clue how to get an older version otherwise. Do double-check the website though. Here is the link where you should find the public beta:

I hadn't used Waveform in a while and yesterday when I started using it again it updated as I just bought Kontrast and Kult. This was to the latest version that was just completely unstable and crashing all the time. Waveform has actually got a bit more stable over time. So I found this thread and I updated to the latest beta and the problem seems to be solved - no more crashes.

It would be good if they could provide older versions for those that don't want to use a beta. Anyway, it's working great again now and I'm having fun making music with Kontrast and Kult and Chop Suey.

No crashes at all so far, so what ever they did seems to have worked. This beta seems very stable after using it all day.
