Hello everybody,

We’ve released the new 17.06 plugins today! To get this update, simply run MPluginManager and set it to “Latest" or “Latest + Beta” mode (if not already set). This will automatically fetch and install all the latest packages for you.

Highlights of this Release:

- MSoundFactory and MDrummer can now automatically detect which addons are missing based on missing samples in instruments. If some samples are missing or an addon (including essentials addon) isn’t installed, you will be prompted to launch MPluginManager (v2.13 or newer required) directly from within the plugin. It will automatically install any missing addons - making installation troubleshooting simpler.

- MSoundFactory now includes two new instruments: Radioactive Explosion and Riddim Bass.

- MSoundFactory features new enhancements in the Sampler and various other improvements.

- MTrackAlign plugin (still in beta) has received major performance and usability improvements.

Was going to try out the Beta for MTrackAlign but getting this error:

This is an ARA plugin, but it has been installed without the ARA functionality!

(using the latest Sonar update - which was an early ARA 2.0 adopter). I have MComplete and my settings are to install all VST3 plugins.

Please start sorting new instruments/devices (but also user presets) after date. Sorting new devices per version would also be greatly helpful.

I find myself often going back to the web page with release notes to retrieve their names which are mostly less than memorable.

I tested in both Cakewalk and Sonar, and the ARA functionality works correctly in these DAWs. There may be some small issues, as MTA is still in beta. To get this working you need to load MTrackAlign as a track FX (right-click on a track → Add Track FX) on at least two tracks. After that, you’ll be able to align them. We’ll also update the MTrackAlign instructions to include these DAWs.

Hey, Martin. I was looking to try out the MTA beta today, but I'm getting the same error - This is an ARA plugin, but it has been installed without the ARA functionality - running it in Samplitude Pro X 8.

We recently contacted Samplitude (BorisFX) support, and their policy is that ARA plugins must be approved on a per-plugin basis, as they need to perform internal tests to ensure there are no compatibility issues. However, I’ve already seen a video (and we are testing it as well) showing MTrackAlign working there, so I think it will be enabled soon once it’s officially approved.
