so I'm trying to figure out why loading and saving presets, even just opening the preset tree in my MSoundfactory takes a lot longer than it used to.
I have the suspicion its because the massive amount of presets I saved. It amasses to 6000 presets at this point. (8 years melda at this point
)I dont *really* need the older presets, and could actually remove them from my preset tree.
But it also feels like it would limit me, and its always cool to revisit old stuff and refurbish it with new knowledge...
So my question is; is it possible to install another version of MSoundfactory that I can use for my old presets, and my main installation only accesses new presets?
This way I can work with an installation that only loads specific presets and it would speed up my workflow.
I'm almost certain that this is not possible, but maybe someone got advice or a sketchy workaround for that...
I wish I can install Meldaproduction ver. 17.5 for all the new stuff, and
Meldaproduction ver. 16 for the old stuff..
But they would both access the same presets wouldn't they?
