Every once in a while I get inspired. Probably my best country song yet. Found the perfect singer for it and the words are really meaningful. What's a country gal to do?

Hey Wags,
I listen to a few of your recent tunes. I enjoyed 'Old Gin and New Hat' and 'Break my neck' in particular.
I have some strong feelings about use of AI in art and music but I'm trying to take more of a live-and-let-live approach to the subject. I can tell you put a lot of care into your music and you have passion and that's the important thing.
I didn't know of your recent misfortune. I hope your recovery is quick and complete! Take care!

Thanks Justin. I am doing much better. Was in a car accident and broke my neck. Thus the song. But I'm gonna be fine. I just have a long road ahead of me.justin3am wrote: Tue Nov 04, 2025 11:39 pm Hey Wags,

wagtunes,
Now listening to "Break My Neck". The nice guitars sounds real. The nice vocals (and vocal harmonies) sound like a cross between your natural vocals and a bit like Bernard Sumner from New Order. Very nice melodies as usual. Nice song and recording! Glad you are still amongst the living on this planet.

That's rough. A good friend of mine is recovering from a similar incident. He needed surgery on his lower back after a car accident back in June and was in a wheel chair for a few months. He's doing better now after the surgery but, like you still a ways off from full recovery.wagtunes wrote: Wed Nov 05, 2025 4:17 am

I hope you aren't in too much discomfort and continue to mend.

I found the perfect singer for this one. Really catchy. This one could possibly be a country hit if I worked it.

W - awful about the accident. Had no idea. Get well, keep busy doing the tunes. It will help in the recovery plus pain meds can be a powerful muse. (or not)
I LOVE Sittin in the Saddle. I can hear Dolly Parton singing it.
