Looks like each track has a (R)ecord button, and a volume meter. Looks nicer than the filters that it was before. GOD i want to buy this.

Loop Recording:
Got a client who can't sing their way out of a paper bag? Or perhaps an overzealous lead guitar player? No problem. Tracktion 2 includes "loop record mode" which makes it easy to record multiple passes and compile the best of each into the perfect take.

Well, you can't take multiple 'takes' and sort through them later. I like to solo over top of a groove a few times, and chop it up and take the best bits.

Midi is merged in Loop mode. This lets you build a midi clip doing one pass at a time.

hmmm...is that the best way of doing it? you could always merge multiple takes after the event, giving you more control over exactly what gets merged. not that i'd reject an 'auto-merge' option o/c.

Well thats that's the way it is now. It really is the standard way of operating compared to other aps. We'll obviously keep an eye on the feedback from you all once T2 is released. Let us know what you think. Of the few key features we are anouncing in these teasers, there are many, many, more small ones straight from you all on KVR in the T2 release.
