I see, and have an idea for your to check it out:
check if you accidentally might have triggered the following function. If so, then just trigger it again to get your "Controls Panel" back.
It is reachable by a keyboard shortcut (if set):
SETTINGS - Keyboard Shortcuts - "Show or hide Controls panel"
Or, it is reachable in an opened Edit from the "eye" menu shown at the top right of the Waveform GUI. There you would trigger the lowest placed, horizontal button (in my screenshot the mouse is placed over it):

Nope. It's not that either.
Note also in my screenshot that the far right side of the screen is slightly 'shaved off'. It looks that way no matter what I do.
Again, it was not behaving this way before I updated to 13.5.13.

The only other settings coming to my mind to suggest you trying out are these:

SETTINGS - Appearance - Look and Feel - Display scale = 100%
SETTINGS - Advanced - Performance - GUI Rendering Mode = Software Renderer

Also try to toggle the button where my mouse pointer is placed over:

Software renderer did it. Thanks!

I neglected to mention one other visual issue (that is still occurring). The bottom half of the on-screen Midi Typing box has vanished. So weird.

In my case nothing stops the crashes, i tried direct 2d and software renderer, when I restart the laptop and reopen the daw, it stays more time without crashing, but it crashes anyway later.
On the Tracktion Download Manager i can't find any previous or beta version.

You can't get previous versions and betas are only available through the website.

I tend to save every version that I download and I recommend at least keeping around a few, just in case. The latest beta might solve your problem. I think it fixes the issue that the JUCE update caused - which wasn't a problem for me but others seem to have had a problem with .13 and then .15 fixed it.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Waveform 13.5.8 has just appeared in the Individual Downloads section of my Tracktion account, right at the bottom of the list as a “legacy item”.

I think all of these bugs are related to a compatibility issue with AMD processor because I noticed every bug reported is in AMD cpu computers, AMD sometimes make erratic instructions in Waveform like plugins menu opening in the background etc.

Nope. All the nonsense I’ve experienced is on a Win11 machine with an Intel i7.
