what the difference between toggle loop & toggle loop mode?
-i just want to set (the composers) loop on or off

Toggle Loop = A composer's loop
Toggle Loop Mode = A sample's loop mode.

Wouldn't it be better to actually specify:
Toggle Composer Loop
Toggle Sample Loop

It's an understandable thought. But that would seriously bloat all menus because the function names in the shortcuts editor are the same as the function names in the menus.

You might have to click the composer timeline background to ensure keyboard focus is on the timeline editor.

PS: When the GUI focus is on the rack desk, it it indeed doesn't work.
For a standard MuLab composer project (ie. typical DAW project ie. main module = composer) such Toggle Loop shortcut should work also with focus on the rack desk, so that should be improved. Taken note.

What's changed:

• Audio Sequence Editor: Right-click lane header now pops up a handy menu with "Select These Events" etc.
• MuLab Project Editor window: Even when the GUI focus is on the docked rack desk, composer functions like "Toggle Loop" now do work.
• Due to a recent coding mistake in M10.1.16, audio stream clips could loop unexpectedly. Fixed.
• Other small improvements.

When applying this function then would it be more logical / user-intuitive that MuLab automatically switches to the resulting envelope editor?

I just had a quick look at the latest MuLab UD.

1. It's wonderful that the MuLab VST plugin panel problem (in wrappers of various DAWs) seems been solved. Great!

However, some problems still persist. For example:

2. It would be nice if the start/sync problem in Record mode were resolved. (All plug-ins, e.g., arpeggiators, etc., which should start synchronously with MuLab, currently start about a sixteenth note later in MuLab's "Record" mode. See the email from a few weeks ago.) Everything works perfectly in MuLab's Play mode.

3. The Renoise VST plug-in "Redux" cannot be integrated/scanned/called in MuLab. I'm not currently aware of a workaround.

Not sure if this was found already, but the timeline has a display bug where the bar number alternates between its real value and its value minus 1. This seems more noticeable when zoomed in more, and it seems to worsen the further along the timeline you go. I found it's most noticeable when panning the timeline very slowly holding right-click.
