First BF impulse buy of the season logged today. Signed into my AudioThing account to collect some updates and saw there was a 50% off coupon for my next purchase. The coupon said it was to expire on Oct 31, but it worked. Also saw there was a current sale: buy 3, get lowest priced one free. Coupon also said not to be used with sale items, but the sale priced item was the one that got zeroed out. Picked up Arguments, Lines, Noises for $69 or buy 3, get 2 free. I don't know if I got or was got on that. Maybe a little bit of both.

The 50% coupon was still in my account also but when I tried to apply it to an item on sale (June) it didn't give 50% off the sale price, it gives 50% off the full price. So not worth it in that case. But can still be a good deal for someone wanting to get a plugin that's not on sale.kidslow wrote: Mon Nov 10, 2025 12:56 am First BF impulse buy of the season logged today. You are correct. It remained in my account after use and I did some more testing. It is multi-use.seangm wrote: Mon Nov 10, 2025 2:01 am The 50% coupon was still in my account also but when I tried to apply it to an item on sale (June) it didn't give 50% off the sale price, it gives 50% off the full price. Bundle completions get inserted into the cart as discounted individual items and subject to the same limitations with only a discount on full price. It stacked with my particular buy3 get1 free configuration because my two highest priced ones were full price.
My Hainbach bundle completion went down by $103ish versus the $69 spent. Almost worth it now. Would any new Hainbach in the future get added to the bundle? Basically is it the Melda bundle model or the Arturia bundle model?

No, AudioThing does add things to a bundle, but you don't get it for free. You are just purchasing multiple items with a bundle, not a bundle of itself.kidslow wrote: Mon Nov 10, 2025 2:16 am My Hainbach bundle completion went down by $103ish versus the $69 spent. Thanks for clarifying and that is consistent with the way the bundles go into the cart. As far as I could determine, the special bundle pricing is just a fixed % off the list price of each of the remaining items to complete.Blaster wrote: Mon Nov 10, 2025 5:34 pm No, AudioThing does add things to a bundle, but you don't get it for free. I don’t have a 50 percent off coupon. If they had some synth emulations that were more interesting than single oscillator synths then I would go for those in the 3-fer-2. I own a minibit license already; it was a fun little no brainer back in the past. I have a very large number of their plugins and really like their products. Maybe some new, whacky Hainbach plugin will get made sometime (hopefully…)

I didn't even know this. Wonder if they have an understanding with Soundtoys, because there's no other site offering this deal...av_ wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 10:33 pmAccording to Soundtoys it shouldn't be sold individually at all.cdbaksu wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 10:28 pmWould have loved this, but that website is just pure garbage. Gear4Music is a proper company. I used to live near their shop/warehouse in York.cdbaksu wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 10:28 pmWould have loved this, but that website is just pure garbage. Not sure what the problem is with your cards etc, maybe an issue due to them being UK based if your cards aren’t.

Yes, I can confirm, Gear for Music is nice and decent, I used them several timesm-ac wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 9:59 amYup, I bought my MPC online from there.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 9:02 am Gear4Music is a proper company. I used to live near their shop/warehouse in York.

Never any problems, also not with card-payment, and delivery to outside their country
Its saddening to see KVR being used to throw dirt for no reason, without moderation
Problems with payment is usually due to technical errors in the payment system or bank
Or the customer handeling the payment wrong, take a look in the mirror eventually
I did two orders the last few day, 1 day, and 3 days ago, international MC payment
All perfect as usual, shipping plus Track and Trace in progress, quick and responsive
I see no problem with their web-site either

Perhaps even sadder to see people defending a company (they don't even work for?) in such an aggressive, personal matter. Even if you were a major stakeholder, one failed transaction of 20 GBP wouldn't have ruined your retirement portfolio.HM wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 2:30 pmcdbaksu wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 10:28 pm Would have loved this, but that website is just pure garbage. It did however leave a sour taste in my mouth, and I chose not to give them my business.
KVR is a place of discussion where topics might not always align to everyone's experiences, that's the beauty of a place like this.
As I explained there was no given error or reason why my Dutch ING Visa nor US Chase Mastercard payment methods did not work, both by inputting details and using Apple Pay.
So, mirror: checked, thanks, site on don't buy list: check, user ignored: check.

If not you is to blame, then most likely its the card-system, or bank, like said
To me rock solid the last few days, as usual
And I own NO stocks or interest in the compagny, swear,..
I like Thomann also, and could have said the same about them
Don't hesitate to share the real course of the error, in case you find out later
