Oh wow, that would be great, not having to use DivisiMate at all. Thank you for suggesting such a device.pboy wrote: Sat Nov 15, 2025 10:59 amYes, and to me, this means I will start using Cubase more often as my secondary platform, besides Bitwig. I'm especially thinking about the fact that Cubase too, now supports the DAW Project protocol for moving projects between DAW apps.
What I miss in Bitwig is being able to address more than 512 ports. A limitation Cubase doesn't have. This is essential if you want to do live orchestration of big orchestral music, utilizing DivisiMate. But our BWS future looks bright in this regard, because I suggested a wish for "a device that detects every note's position inside a chord and splits the MIDI chord into several outputs for musically driving an ensemble setup of instrument tracks", and it was well received. So hopefully we will be able to do this all within Bitwig some day.![]()
And yes, you're right. Bitwig Studio + Nuendo = Endgame.
