I can use the Komplete Kontrol M32 just fine as a regular MIDI controller/keyboard.
In an older thread, a user says he got Play, Rec, Stop and the 4-way button to work in Waveform.

I can chose the M32 as a "Control Surface" in the settings (2nd image) but then nothing works anymore.
I need to deselect it in the "Control Surface" settings for it to work as a basic MIDI keyboard again.
Does anyone know how I can get the partial DAW controls that "threeeye" described in the old thread?

Solved:
I bought the M32 used and had to contact support to be able to register the serial. But even after registering and receiving a voucher code and downloading all available software, "Komplete Kontrol" never showed up in my Native Access app.
I had to manually request it from this link, only then it showed up.
