How does one download the version 6 demo? Every time I click "Try" it points to 5.3.13

With the current Black Friday sale going on I might consider updating my version of Bitwig which has long since expired but only if I can demo version 6 first.

There is no demo yet. Version 6 is currently in beta, and you have to have an active licence to use it.

6 Is still in beta that's why there is no demo yet.

At current pace/state, I cant see a release before '26, just pure guessing on my part

I have an active Bitwig account but I stopped paying the update fees at 5.0.11 since they've never added anything I wanted or needed. I no longer use Bitwig.

I just wanted to try the version 6 demo to see if they have added anything I need to justify the update cost and encourage me to use BW again.

There is no way I'm paying just to demo version 6 especially not from Splice.

Their statement said they were aiming for a fall 2025 full release. Fall officially ends in Germany on 11/30....Fingers crossed. My luck, it'll be spring 2026 and I'll have to pony up again.

In the rest of the world it ends on the 20th of december.

In the Germany I knew it was 20th of december too... no idea what has changed since I left...

They are so forward thinking that they anticipated the seasons..hehe..

I’d sell my soul for Bitwig, not my bank account number (AFAIK if you don’t click suspicious links, don’t give your codes to anyone, and don’t lose your devices, then the combination of two-factor authentication and a heavily limited online spending limit is highly reliable against hackers in practice.)

I decided NOT to update, since I cannot test it... also considering a switch because support has abandoned me...

Seeking change and either sell licence or use it as a sound creator = The Grid

Considering FL Studio with perpetual upgrades - but it is more geeky ...

If not wrong, it is the second time they raise the yearly deal and then apply a 'fake-in-my-view' discount.

They could simply allow install beside older version - for those who have it - and not allow any file save!

That is the best way of keeping and gaining customer, as FL Studio does - if I remember well.
