When I create a volume curve on one track, and the make adjustments to it, it also affects the curve on the master track, in exactly the same way. Why? Thank you!

Which version of Waveform? Which OS?
By volume curve do you mean automation of the volume of a volume/pan plugin?
How did you create the automation? How are you editing it?
Does this happen in every Edit?
What happens if you create an automation on two tracks?
Did you create the automation on the Master track?
What is your automation mode set to?

Surely there must be consensus by now...

Hi Pough,
I've solved it (with your help); I had inadvertently set the curves on my recorded tracks to affect "master volume", rather than "volume".
Thank you for helping.

Huh. I wasn't really aware that you could have the Master track automation display over a regular track. I don't know when that would be useful but I guess someone wanted it. If nothing else, it's an excellent way to confuse someone who chose it by mistake.
