I am still on the fence to upgrade Electra 2 to V3 because the upgrade price did cost the same as the Electra 3 when it was on sale last year.

Would be great to have a BF Price for the upgrades too

I just noticed the site shows $169 for Icarus in one spot, and then the Black Friday price ($99) on another part of the site.

The website does not support dynamic prices as it uses static html. It's lots of (wasted) work to change and all the prices and links manually twice. We are a tiny company and prefer to spend this time on improving the products instead.

I just upgraded to Icarus 3, and I was having some conflict issues with v1 so I had to uninstall everything, and it looks like v3 doesn't include the factory presets from v1. Is there an easy way to download the factory presets from the previous versions?

For a true smooth random LFO, Is the Random→S&&H Noise Ramped the best type to achieve that smooth randomness?

I'd say yes.

There are also several further ways to smooth things.

1) Step LFO:
- Use the "shape" knob for variable smoothing

2) You can smooth anything you like also in the Matrix:
- Matrix Slot 1: Select "LFO 1+-" (or anything you want to smooth) as source
- Matrix Slot 1: Select "X:=Value" as traget
- Matrix Slot 1: Sent send level to 50% (this will be the amount of modulation)
- Matrix Slot 2: Select "Function(X)->Filter(X)" as source
- Matrix Slot 2: Select whatever you like as target (Pitch/filter cutoff, etc)
- Matrix Slot 2: Set send level to something like 20%. The send level defines the smoothness

I bought Icarus 3 and Electra 3 and I highly recommend them.

These VSTs are far too underrated and truly deserve a major place in any VST arsenal.

And quite frankly, they easily hold their own against the market leaders.

Icarus 3 is incredibly effective.

A source of endless creativity.

Electra 3 offers endless inspiration.

It also offers immense potential.
