What type of plugin is that?

It's essentially a one-knob plugin that recreates a smile curve EQ setting (i.e. boosting the lows and highs with a subtle mid scoop). It's adjustable so you can dial in how much of the effect you want, and can go the other way to reduce lows and highs and bring out the mids. There's some other things happening under the hood supposedly, but that's its primary function as far as I can tell.
