TAL has not yet had any offers this black Friday season. They typically do have a modest discount but my recollection is that it is usually closer to black Friday itself (next week).
Roland wants you to go with their subscription model. TAL Sampler and Drum are great, but I haven't tried their Roland synth emulations. Their semi-modular thing is pretty cool, though. It isn't like a fully modular synth, but it makes some good sounds. I also like TAL because they are super-active and frequent with updates and have very readable release notes and history on their website.

Oh holy shiznitzle, they have a 15 percent loyalty discount now? I just logged into my account and it is there with my products and license keys. I don't remember seeing that previously, but it has been a minute since I logged into my account there. Is this a standard thing with them? I have four product licenses (also own a TAL Dub-X license). Hmm... a possible unexpected purchase might be incoming.

Free for the next 72 hours (Got the mail 21.11.2025 / 14:06 German Time)
I don't know about anyone else but I ended up with a "free trial" that expires on December 6th. I don't think the 72 hours has passed...can't be arsed to do the math.

Uninstalling......
You have to click 'BUY', not just download the plugin.

Correct.
The "Download" is the trial version,
if you click on "Buy", you have to type in your data, but you won't be charged.

TAL has done a BF sale these past years, I am waiting for that. Give it a couple more days I think.

Yes, TAL Sampler is great. I use it all the time. Sadly, I don't get nearly as much use out of the synths, which I can only attribute to the GUI's because the sounds are great.

Agree, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who is so visually oriented...isn't ironic that we who obsess so much over sound could be so superficial about looks? 😀

Oh that is a bummer. What do you not like about the GUIs? Are they too busy or crowded? I looked at Cherry Audio Sines and Dreamsynth this time, and their GUIs, especially for the latter, are too crowded and busy for my liking. Sometimes it is better to not try to fit everything on one page.

Does anyone know when the IK sale for Total Studio 5 MAX ends?

Yes, I think that's it. At the same time, all the added features are things I want, so I'm a schmuck for not using them.

Gothic Toolworks Black Friday Sale - Everything Bundle - 97% Off - $249 / New in 2025 Bundle - 95% Off - $99

I went to the link and there were no sale prices.

EDIT - It doesn't start until the 24th.
If every KVR member wrote one review a year we'd have 1340 reviews each day!

Is Halion 7 worth buying if you already have Halion Sonic with Cubase Pro 15?

Hi, Eric. Any chance you can offer the BioTek 3 upgrade for $39?

I'd say so, but only when you get it on sale in the Absolute collection.

It is sort of like Falcon with a better FM engine. I think that it is more complicated. There are differences, but if your jam is diving deep into complexity then probably worth it. Sample Fuel has a stable of synthesizers that can run in Halion Sonic, but AFAIK were created and scripted using Halion.
