I wondered the same thing. I think probably their engineering resources on the software/plugin side are stretched and while they would have liked to go back and update the earlier instruments with the earlier GUIs, it's probably not the biggest priority. That would be my guess, anyway...

Either that or they figured those were the most popular ones and were most in need of modernising...

I see Roland is offering a deal on the Earth Electric Piano lifetime key.
@Jon at Roland, is there any way to demo (just) this for those who have previously trialled Ultimate (I'm guessing most of us)

Seeing some sales for Roland Cloud, I was hoping for a sale on the Zenology expansion things & JP8 soundpacks..do they usually get sales for Black Friday or just the occaisonal sale?

If it has started, what deals are we talking about? I don't see any lifetime keys on sale with resellers, except a couple maybe and some bundles, which don't seem like Black Friday deals.

They have to release something new to get me to buy more.

I already own 90% of the Instruments/SRX and the 10% that is left and the overpriced effects is not that interesting to me.

Why would i pay $99 for the Juno Chorus when the Tal Chorus is free.

From the fine print: JC-120, BOSS Effects, EARTH Piano, EARTH Electric Piano, ZENOLOGY, ZENOLOGY Pro, ZENOLOGY GX, SoundWorks, GALAXIAS, RE-201, JUNO-60 Chorus, and Hardware Expansions are all excluded from the Lifetime Key selection.

Yes that's the way it's always been I think. You can buy Zenology Pro of course, I picked it up in their recent(ish) sale.

Hey Jelly. So far, the only way to demo Roland Cloud is with our Ultimate Membership trial. I have had conversations about offering some kind of other method to demo newer synths and instruments for users who used that free trial years ago, so this feedback is helpful!
