I'm Getting a Warning to Make Sure MSF and MD Sample Paths are Different When Installing Rewind

On my laptop I just set both paths to D:/Samples/Melda. On my desktop I was more careful and they are set to D:/Samples/Melda/MDrummer and D:/Samples/Melda/MSoundFactory. The installer is happy with the two paths on the desktop. It looks like all the MSF files are in the "MeldaProduction" folder on both machines under their respective paths.

If I create new D:/Samples/Melda/MDrummer and D:/Samples/Melda/MSoundFactory folders on the laptop and copy the "MeldaProduction" folder to the D:/Samples/Melda/MSoundFactory folder, and copy everything else to the D:/Samples/Melda/MDrummer, set the new paths in MPluginManager, will that be good. There is also a LICENCE.TXT file in the MDrummer stuff.

Or is it better to just delete it all, set the new separate MSF and MD Sample Paths in MPluginManager, then do a fresh download and reinstall. I found this post
viewtopic.php?p=9102836
and maybe the reinstall is the way to go unless the update mentioned has happened.

I'm on Plugins Version 17.06 and Installer v02.13.
Thanks for any advice on this.

You haven’t provided enough information to solve this for your laptop. For example, it’s necessary to know whether you have already installed all the required MDrummer / MSF addons on your laptop and only want to move their samples to new folders. If so, you can simply move the samples to the new folders and then update the paths in MPluginManager. MSF / MDrummer will recognize them afterward.

If you have never installed the addons on your laptop, you will need to do so. The data in the folders you mentioned are only samples, and the installation includes additional files written to your user data. Without those files, it will not work.
