Arturia synths have always sounded so thin compared to the likes of Softube, GForce, UVI, and of course Roland's offerings.

Agreed. Own the V Collection but I barely use it. Mostly use the Softube stuff!

Why did you have to mention Softube? I didn't think much of the Model 77 when it came out but today I found a video that really impressed me. I can get it for Total: €33.15 during the sale period.

Well their V8 key worked great for me and I've gone on to upgrade it. Then used that as a springboard to get the FX collection at a reduced price. No complaints from me of proaudiostar

This v8 isnt a new offer. It's been around a long while. If arturia had an issue with it, they have had over a year to rectify it.

What's new is the X key at discount now. But if v8 works (and it did for me) there is no reason to be skeptical of X.

Ah this conversation seemed familiar so I checked the history. It wasn't last year but TWO years ago.

I think it's fine. arturia hasn't done anything since then. The key worked on arturia's end, pas is still offering it for sale.
