Can’t load the U-he Diva in Akai MPC Studio mk2 DAW

I just purchased the U-he Diva plugin, but I can’t load the plugin in my software for Akai MPC Studio mk2 DAW. My other plugins loads just fine, like the Arturia JP-8000 plugin which I installed last month.

I have tried different paths to the VST files (located in program files), but no luck. When I scan the folder it seems my DAW is not «seeing» the VST? Maybe my DAW is not supported? Do I need to purchase FL Studio to make it load? Thanks in advance for your support. Really want it to work as I loved the sounds from various YouTube videos. 😊

Does this DAW support VST3 plug-ins?

Our latest plug-in versions do not offer VST2 support anymore, so you'd need to install the VST3 version.

It looks like it does not supports VST3. Is there a VST2 version available? I guess FL Studio supports VST3?

«Included plugins
The MPC Studio MKII comes with the MPC 2.11 desktop software, which includes a variety of plugins like Hype, Tubesynth, Bassline, and others from the MPC Instrument Collection.
These can be used within the MPC software or when using the MPC as a VST plugin inside another DAW.
Third-party plugins
Third-party VSTs can be used in the MPC software when the MPC is being used as a VST or AU plugin within your DAW.
VST3 plugins are not supported on MPC 2 and MPC Beats, so you will need to use VST or AU plugins.
This allows you to use your third-party plugins with the MPC Studio controller.
To use third-party plugins, you will need to install them correctly on your computer and then scan them within the MPC 2 software.»

yes u-he DIVA supports vst2 x64 as well. It sounds like you need to point the correct vst 2 folders inside the mpc software and rescan your vst2 plugin folders from there you should be good to go.

Not the latest version

You need the legacy version for VST2
How original

Where can I find that version?

You can find it in their release archive

Thanks. I will try, but I just discovered that it does looks like my DAW supports VST3 files? For example my Arturia plugin loads just find, but it looks like it loads the DLL file too? Which is not present with the Diva VST file?

According to Google, the latest AKAI MPC software version does support VST3.
You might have to manually add the system's VST3 path to the scanned VST folders in the preferences.

You can use Diva's VST2 version from the release archive, but please remember that future Diva updates will not include VST2 support anymore. So you'll be stuck with this version.
