Their web site design scared me off.concealed identity wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 3:58 am For the Cymatics stuff, they just give you a DRM-free download, not a license, right?
I had major, repeatable crash issues with previous plugins they gave away like this that weren't present in the regular versions.
I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I'm inclined to skip these just to be safe.

The ProAudioStar comments? FWIW, I made mine because I ordered BFD 2 from them years ago, they never delivered, and communication was piss-poor.
It left a bad taste, so I never bothered with them again.
You have to admit that their "exclusive" Arturia V-Collection deals are a bit curious...

That's a little stingy, but not Waves level stingy. I think I'll give Arturia a miss. Thanks guys.Examigan wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 12:24 amJust updates to the existing plugins, but not to the latest version numbers.R_A wrote: Wed Nov 26, 2025 4:39 pmGuys, do the instruments get updated in the older collections? For instance if you have Arturia V8, do you always have access to the very latest version of the plugin Emulator II V? Or do you only have the updates for that plugin to V8?mustakatu kvr wrote: Wed Nov 26, 2025 1:16 pmArturia V Collection 8 is $60skyman88882002 wrote: Wed Nov 26, 2025 4:47 am Arturia V Collection X - $99

If you have a Korg Collection, you always have access to the very latest versions of the plugins that you 'own'.
One good thing is you do get additional presets in Analog Lab from the newer plugins that are added.

I've only used their freebies, but they have some very good ones imo. Some of them are cut down versions of their regular plugs, but they're still very useable. Origin is the one plugin that has gotten quite a lot of use from me.Gribs wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 5:40 amTheir web site design scared me off.concealed identity wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 3:58 am For the Cymatics stuff, they just give you a DRM-free download, not a license, right?

I'm just not sure why they don't give an NFR license to people instead of a download page, which I feel is much more exploitable. And making versions without copy protection also takes more work (and results in buggier versions, as I experienced). So as someone that values stability in both the plugins themselves and being able to download them in the future, it feels risky to use these plugins in projects that I may want to recall years in the future.
It's just a bit disappointing, as I think they do great work, so it's frustrating almost getting something great for free.

yes, I´ve been waiting for that one... problem now is, should I upgrade to cinematic rooms pro or spend the money (it´s about the same) in Valhalla´s future verb? mmmm...

Cinematic Rooms is a surround reverb with a lot of tweakability. FutureVerb sounds nice, especially in comparison to VintageVerb, but is stereo only, has limited tweakability, but includes a delay that can be switched before or after the reverb and is generally a bit more versatile with non-linear reverb, shimmer, freeze etc. Both are excellent, but pretty different.Download SOphist wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 11:31 am yes, I´ve been waiting for that one... problem now is, should I upgrade to cinematic rooms pro or spend the money (it´s about the same) in Valhalla´s future verb? mmmm...
Keep in mind maybe that Liquidsonics sales are to my knowledge once per year. Valhalla prices don't change all year (except that I would expect a general price increase at some point).

If you want Anthem, then you need to pay for it separately or buy the $99 custom bundle. The AD BFCM10 works so you get for ~$10 less than UAD's price. The Noodlist wrote: Mon Nov 24, 2025 7:48 pm Universal Audio UAD Select 3 Bundle $62.10

Would this offer be valid with a code from a 3rd party vendor purchase, anyone chip in?
Been curious about the room sims.
