There's a code at the UAD page you linked to that gives an extra 10% off on Custom bundles (EXTRA10), which may be a reason to buy direct from UAD, especially if it generates a $25 coupon for a future purchase (which seems to be hit or miss right now).

I'm more interested in the soon-to-be released guitar paradise plugin in and/or Enigmatic amp plugin than the few that I don't have already.

That might mean the smart move is to buy from an outside vendor, NOT use it until the new guitar plugin is released, and hope it would also apply to the new releases.

Tape Double Track is a faithful recreation of a classic double-tracking effect. The vintage 1960s ADT technique meets the flexibility of modern production workflows.

we're NOT doing a Black Friday sale... in fact we don't do sales ever...

INSTEAD we always offer you 2 ways to save:

1. create your own bundle
mix and match any library and discounts are automatically applied at checkout. the more you add, the more you save

2. early access (the only time we offer a discount)
for 72 hours before every release you can save an additional 10% on all new libraries on top of bundle savings. early access is only available if you are on the list ↳ join the list

early access for our next release - MONOLITH - starts tomorrow (nov 28) at 18:00 CET

until then, check out some of the cool music that's already being made with MONOLITH and the rest of the GRIT collection 👀

The ProAudioStar comments? FWIW, I made mine because I ordered BFD 2 from them years ago, they never delivered, and communication was piss-poor.

It left a bad taste, so I never bothered with them again.

You have to admit that their "exclusive" Arturia V-Collection deals are a bit curious... :?
Sounds like you were just unlucky. I've purchased the Arturia deals, and hardware instruments from them without a single problem. The deals don't seem suspect to me. I just assume that someone ordered a batch of codes, sales slowed, and then they clearanced them out.

Would this offer be valid  with a code from a 3rd party vendor purchase, anyone chip in?
Yes, this also happens with 3rd party vendors.

Pretty surprising to see how much control it provides, especially for a free plugin!

Sloom, Factoid 2, and FactorSynth 3

Three powerhouse plugins for total sound manipulation, modulation, and synthesis precision.

This bundle delivers Sloom, Factoid 2, and FactorSynth 3, giving producers full control over textures, tones, and dynamic sound shaping. Instantly tweak, layer, and design sounds that hit hard while keeping every element crystal clear.

Bought. If you've installed the Sloom demo in the past, be sure to delete it before installing the full version.

anyone any experience of these, Philips Fidelio X2HR headphones?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-X2HR-R ... B01N5VHLUG

I've a vague recollection of them being well reviewed and quite flat at £150 or so, £67 could be a bargain..?

(no, I'm not saying not for hard core audio production, more a nice pair of everyday phones that could be useful for checking mixes away from your usual monitoring etc etc...)

I have them - for this price it's a no-brainer. I'd even consider getting the second pair

It's astonishing how many people (usually over 40 years old) I've seen lately that blindly trust whatever the AI bot generates. It reminds me of the older folks that blindly trusted their GPS when they were new. Some of them drove into lakes, off cliffs, and into houses.. :dog:

Not sure I'd toss an age on it. I'm 52 and teach at a grad school. An unbelievable number of people in their 20's act as if AI is the holy grail of information. It's f**king bonkers.
