Well that's a shame as his synths are very good. He's obviously a very talented programmer. I'm afraid CLAP and FL Native only might have been a too restricted market to sustain any developer at least at the time they were released.
I did what I could to support his work so I'm sorry to see he had to move on to other endeavors.
I'm happy that everyone will able to enjoy the free versions but it's bittersweet because that means other than potential bug fixes these plugins are dead-ended.
I'm giving Altitude a go right now and it's a synth that most definitely deserves to live on. 4 VA Oscs and 4 Sample Oscs, 2 Sequencers with probability function, 2 FX racks, etc.

Agreed! It's really sad. It has pretty much everything I need and want, since it can run 4 SFZ instruments as well as everything else it can do--in Linux, at that. It really IS an awesome synth!! It would be nice if, when he is ready to make it free, it could be open sourced so that the Surge Synth Team could keep it alive.

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

I was thinking the same thing or perhaps Image-line would be interested in buying the code since his synths are some of the only ones I'm aware of that have native FL Studio versions.audiojunkie wrote: Wed Aug 27, 2025 8:06 pm It would be nice if, when he is ready to make it free, it could be open sourced so that the Surge Synth Team could keep it alive.
I hate to see his synths abandoned but I'd love for him to get some compensation for his code.
I feel really bad for the guy. He's obviously very talented and passionate. His synths really should have been more popular.

Became one of my favorite synths to start from zero.
The supersaw detuning sounded different then the one in altitude IIRC, with altitude demo i easily recreated my hardware jp 8000 sounds.
Also so easy gui and modulation...became one of my favorite softsynths.

That is really sad. I just discovered your synths. They are great sounding and quite unique. Very few other CLAP synths support voice stacking. Some more MTS-ESP. But in the combination its a dream team for Bitwig.**Good and Bad News**
As you may have noticed, I haven't had much time to work on my synths for over a year. I'm still happy to fix the occasional bug, but new features are pretty rare now. Unfortunately, sales of my paid plugins were very low, so they couldn't financially support me (not even close). I had to get a full time job. Sales have continued to dwindle since.

For those interested (and If I understood correctly) Integrate should be now free to download https://nakst.itch.io/integrate

I really like the architecture and it's easy to use and on the eye. I find the sound a bit disappointing though, everything sounds very buzzy and gritty, you can't really get a lush, silky sound out of it regardless of the preset which is a shame, as if the output is a low bitrate. Is it possible there could be an update?
