Those parameters had been exposed by accident during the beta phase.
For the release candidate, we cleaned up the list of modulation targets, as well as the list of parameters exposed to host automation and MIDI learn.
It's still in the manual though so you might wanna clean that up too!

can I install this new zebralette version and rename it so it doesn't overwrite the previous one?
I have some projects that are using the previous one so dont want to mess anything up - although I often bounce to audio

Just crashes, in all DAW's Logic, Ableton, Cubase.

Surely some fault in the installation then, as it worked well here during testing in several DAWs.
Perhaps parts of an older version weren't updated properly?
Can you reach out to support[at]u-he.com and we'll take a look?

NAD wrote: Sun Dec 07, 2025 11:20 am I'm not sure if this is a bug, but it's at least a bit odd:
Let's say you start with the init preset, switch the oscillator renderer to Additive and the spectral modifier to Harmonic Clusters, then set Spectral Distortion to 50 and leave Cluster Select at 0. Now if you target the Cluster Select with a Constant modifier and turn the modulation depth knob counter-clockwise, it seems the entire first half of the travel of the knob is cycling though a series of some discrete values creating a cool glitchy 8-bit kind of effect. Same if you set Cluster Select at 50 and modify it with a slow triangle LFO at full depth, at one end of the LFO cycle you'll get that glitchy goodness. What I would expect when trying to modulate a parameter beyond it's knob range is that it would just clamp to min or max values, which is what appears to be happening in most cases in Zebrallete.
Oi, this is a bug. I fixed it by clamping the cluster at 0.

That won't work. Maybe back up your old version, and try the new one. We put a lot of effort into making changes backward compatible, but we can't always catch every nuance.

Yesterday we noticed that some of these even made it into factory presets. So there's a good chance we'll simply bring them back to not break things. :)

that would be lovely :)

Is it possible to add arrows up and down near the OSC FX1 & 2 and even others things where there are many choices? It's faster to change filters with the arrows a bit like the version from Izmo on Hive for Oscillator or waves.

Mouse wheel is faster.

This makes me happy. Thank you!

However, Apple etc. have addressed this by introducing "natural scrolling". I don't like it, but maybe this is why some people prefer it.
slightly ot.

I have macOS set to 'natural scrolling' and Zebralette 3 and Uhbik now follow all my other synths with the selected knob moving clockwise on sliding up and counter-clockwise on sliding down (with the setting in Zebralette: Natural scrolling = scroll bar only).

Will this option be added to all previous u-he synths? with Hive, Diva and Bazille I would have to turn Natural scrolling off in the OS to get the same behaviour (I don't have to do this for any other synth that I am aware of).

It’s possible I’m doing something wrong, but I can’t set the filter so that there are no clicks. I was trying to create a 16th‑note bass

Yes, whenever we publish updates, and if we don't slip.

Do you have the preset?
