It's one per voice. But for a second value you can simply

- use Random in the Matrix and S&H it with Gate
- use ModNoise with S&H in the ModMath modules
cool..was aware of those options in the modules. will use that :)

Post

I'll add the "multiple randoms" methods to the Tips & Tricks section of the manual

Post

There's a pending feature request to add randomness automatically in the ModMath when no input to be sampled is selected.

For example I selected "Airwave" and pressed "init". Still the envelopes, MSEG and Mapper are there.
Also OSC1 is not resetted correctly.

I'm on Kubuntu 24.04 with Bitwig Studio 6 Beta 7.
This is a Bitwig bug that affects the init preset function of our CLAP plug-ins.
They introduced this issue when they added their new undo/redo system with Bitwig 5.3.
We still hope they will fix this soon.

@everyone - the feedback is a bit overwhelming for me today... I'll check in form time to time but must eventually try to catch up with everything tomorrow...

2. First I used the Beta license card to activate. It worked.
Then I loved what I've heard and purchased for the introduction price and got my full card. When loading a "non-beta-serial" (card) it works after loading. But when I close the DAW and insert Zebra 3 again it shows me the "Beta Tester" registration again.

I'm on Kubuntu 24.04 with Bitwig Studio 6 Beta 7.
You can manually remove the beta license card.
You can find both cards installed in the .u-he folder which you can find in your user's home folder on Linux.

Am I the only one who feels that the text and similar UI elements aren’t contrasty enough? The fonts look a bit too dark against the dark background. I feel it would look better if the text were lighter, closer to white.

Yes, we are still working on the GUI. Expect a lot of tweaks during the beta =)

I wish the scope could float outside the synth GUI.

Yes, I find the GUI a little bit too dark or rather not enough contrast. Zebralette 3 (dark mode) is better at this. Also, I can't seem to find the perfect GUI size for my portable setup (14" MBP), between 80% and 90% would be perfect. 100% is just not possible.

Andreya_Autumn wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 3:35 pm Why not just use the overtone series indices in the normal way? 1=root, 2=oct, 3=oct+fifth, 4=2 octaves... etc etc. And same for the undertone series.
What you mean is the "harmonic series", where the first harmonic is the fundamental. An "Overtone series" would be similar but the numbers are different. They're often interchangeably used, but it's not the same thing. Overtones are above the fundamental, so the fundamental needs to be the zero, 0 = root.
Ahhh... Can't believe I didn't see that straight away tbh. They say there's N hard problems in programming and this is the n+1th of them. :ud: Here's a rare case where it applies in music too.

Jokes aside. Is there a reason why you prefer the overtone nomenclature? All english-language texts that I've ever seen use the harmonic series (only German and Scandinavian ones don't, that I know of). And I think there is good reason for it. Octaves are powers of two. Fifths are 3*the same. The nth overtone of a frequency is frequency * n... etc etc. Those patterns are a lot harder to see in the "overtone" variant.

Would you consider switching?
